Charles was born on May 3, 1960, the son of Charles and Dixie Schlossler of Roanoke, Illinois. He started as part time at the Highway Department and then went to full on March 2003.
Working Experience
He was at A.S.E. as a certified master technician in medium and heavy trucks. He is also certified in diesel engines, drive trains, brakes, suspension and steering, electric systems and air conditioning.
He worked for Martin Brothers for 5 years and acquired all certifications there were on farm equipment. He has attended classes at Detract Allison in Milwaukee, WI as well as taken courses in hydraulics, computer repair and automatic transmission.
Charlie was also a part time welder at D.M.I. in Goodfield, Illinois for 1 winter, and he loved making things out of iron.
He has lived in Roanoke, Illinois all of his life and enjoys working for the people of Woodford County. He has also served 13 years on the Roanoke Fire Department and 5 on the Roanoke Ambulance Department.
Personal Information
He has 1 son and 2 daughters. His hobbies include farming, riding
horses, boating, hunting, fishing and spending time with his children. He coached little league, soccer and basketball. He enjoys his children.
