The Woodford County Health Department (WCHD) completed the CASPER (Community Assessment for Public Health Emergency Response) survey mid-September and would like to thank area residents that participated. Additionally, WCHD extends its gratitude to the Woodford County Medical Reserve Corps. volunteers and other community partners that assisted with the survey process.
Survey participants were identified based on random address clusters throughout the county. The ultimate goal of the survey was to determine how prepared the residents of Woodford County are, and what assistance they may need immediately following a disaster. The information gathered will allow local emergency response partners to better prepare and respond when a disaster strikes.
