Purchasing

Woodford County Purchasing is coordinated through the County Administrator’s Office. The office assists all County departments in purchasing required goods and services in conformance with Illinois Compiled Statutes, Woodford County Purchasing Ordinance, related resolutions of the County Board and administrative policies.
Requirements of less than $10,000 are made in accordance with established procedures for small-dollar purchases and informal quotations. Requirements in excess of $10,000 are publicly advertised and are subject to formal-bidding procedures.
The County is always looking for qualified suppliers to provide the goods and services required at the most favorable prices, as this will continue to ensure the County taxpayers are receiving the maximum value for their tax dollars.
When a supplier is aware of a solicitation, they can contact the County Administrator’s Office at (309) 467-7343 to request that the bid document be mailed, or download and print the bids through the RFP link on this web site.
